Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 26, 2026
Product Of Work ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, the choices you have, and the steps we take to protect it — including how SMS text messaging works and how to opt out.
1. Introduction
2. Information We Collect
- Identification and contact information — such as your name, business name, email address, and phone number (including mobile number) when you provide them through our contact form, consult scheduling form, project intake, client portal, or by communicating with us.
- Business and project information — such as your industry, business description, services needed, goals, challenges, timeline, budget, current systems, and uploaded files, which you provide through intake forms, project planning tools, or client communications.
- Communication content — the content of messages, calls, and other communications you exchange with us or with our AI receptionist, including transcriptions and call notes used to provide and improve our services.
- Account information — when you create or are invited to a client portal account, information needed to administer your access, such as your name, email, and role.
- Technical and usage information — such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and similar information collected automatically when you use our website and Services.
- Form submissions — information you submit through any form on our website, including the injury case evaluation form, lead capture tools, and feedback forms.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive categories of data such as Social Security numbers, credit card numbers (payment details are handled by our payment processors, described below), or government identification numbers through our forms. We only collect the information that is necessary to provide the Services you request.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Respond to your inquiries and provide the services or information you request;
- Manage projects, client relationships, and the work we perform for you;
- Operate our client portals and provide account access;
- Communicate with you about your project, services, appointments, and account;
- Schedule and confirm consultations and appointments;
- Send notifications you have requested or agreed to receive, including by email and, where you have separately consented, by text message;
- Provide customer support and resolve issues;
- Improve our website, Services, and the quality of our communications;
- Maintain the security of our Services, prevent fraud or abuse, and enforce our terms; and
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
4. SMS / Text Message Communications
With your separate, affirmative consent, Product Of Work may send SMS and MMS text messages to the mobile number you provide. Mobile numbers are collected only when you voluntarily provide them through a Product Of Work form, intake process, client portal, or by communicating with us. Providing your mobile number alone does not automatically enroll you in text messaging.
Based on the consent you give at the point of opt-in, the messages you may receive can include:
- Appointment reminders and scheduling confirmations;
- Follow-up messages after a call or form submission;
- Missed-call notifications;
- Customer-service and project-related communications;
- Billing reminders and account notifications; and
- Replies to messages you send us.
We do not send promotional or marketing text messages unless you have separately and explicitly consented to receive them. Not every person who provides a phone number will receive text messages — you receive only the types of messages for which you have given consent.
6. SMS Consent
SMS consent is optional. Where a Product Of Work form or flow offers text messaging, your consent is collected through a separate, affirmative action — typically an unchecked checkbox that you must select — and is never bundled into a general agreement to our Terms of Use or Privacy Policy.
Important points about SMS consent:
- Providing your phone number does not automatically mean you have consented to marketing or promotional text messages;
- SMS consent is collected separately, at the point where you provide your number, and applies only to the specific messaging purpose described there;
- You may decline SMS consent and still complete the underlying form or service request;
- Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services;
- Your SMS consent is not sold or transferred to unrelated businesses; and
- You may withdraw your consent at any time, as described below.
7. Message Frequency
8. Message and Data Rates
9. How to Stop Text Messages
You may opt out of receiving text messages from Product Of Work at any time by replying STOP to any message we send. After you opt out, we will not send further messages covered by that opt-out unless you subsequently provide valid consent again. You may also recognize standard opt-out keywords such as UNSTOP or CANCEL where supported by your carrier.
For help, reply HELP to any message, or contact Product Of Work through the support method provided on our website at /contact.
Opting out of SMS messages does not affect your ability to use our other services.
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is not guaranteed and may be affected by carrier filtering, network issues, or your device settings.
10. Third-Party Service Providers
Product Of Work uses third-party service providers to operate its technology infrastructure and deliver the Services you request. These providers process information on our behalf and only as necessary to provide the Services, subject to applicable contractual and legal requirements. This is fundamentally different from selling or sharing your information for a third party's own marketing.
The categories of service providers we actually rely on include:
- Messaging and voice providers — such as Twilio, used to send and receive SMS text messages and to operate our AI receptionist and call functionality. Your mobile number is shared with Twilio and downstream wireless carriers only as needed to deliver messages to you.
- Email delivery providers — such as Resend, used to send you confirmation and notification emails.
- Payment processors — such as Wix Payments (branded as "Base44 Payments") and Stripe, used to process payments you authorize. Payment card data is handled by these processors and is not stored by Product Of Work.
- Hosting and platform infrastructure — the cloud platform that hosts our application, database, and files.
- Data and enrichment services — such as Google (Places data, maps, and analytics) and, where used, business-enrichment tools, to help us provide accurate local data and better serve business clients.
For mobile messaging specifically, your mobile number and SMS consent data are not shared with any third party or affiliate for their own marketing or promotional purposes, as described in the section above.
12. Lead Referral and Case-Evaluation Services
Certain Product Of Work forms — such as the injury case-evaluation form — are designed to connect you with a relevant service provider (for example, a personal-injury attorney) who can evaluate and respond to your request. When you submit such a form, the information you provide, including your name and contact details, is used to facilitate that introduction so the provider may contact you about your specific request.
This referral is the service you are requesting when you submit that form, not a marketing use of your information. SMS consent on those forms is always optional and separate from the form's submission, and your mobile number and SMS consent are never sold to, or shared with, third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
13. Data Security
Product Of Work takes reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we collect. The safeguards we actually implement include:
- Access controls and authentication — user accounts are protected by secure authentication, and administrative actions are limited to authorized roles;
- Role-based permissions — users are assigned roles (such as administrator or client) that determine what they can access;
- Organization-level data isolation — row-level security separates each client organization's data so that one client cannot access another client's information;
- Audit logging — significant administrative and system actions are recorded for review;
- Secure hosting — our application and data are hosted on a secure cloud platform; and
- Encryption in transit — data is transmitted over HTTPS.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We do not claim any specific security certification or compliance framework (such as HIPAA, SOC 2, or PCI) unless and until such a certification is actually in place.
14. Data Retention
15. Your Rights and Choices
You have choices about how your information is used. Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to:
- Request access to or a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- Request that we correct inaccurate information;
- Request that we delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions;
- Update your information directly through your portal account or by contacting us;
- Withdraw your consent to receive text messages at any time (by replying STOP or contacting us); and
- Opt out of marketing or non-essential communications.
To exercise any of these rights or to ask questions about your privacy, contact us at support@productof.work. We will respond in accordance with applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
